Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons whole milk or half-and-half
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon shredded cheddar cheese, optional
Method
- 1Center the listed cookware on the PIC Gold with vents clear.
- 2Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl until evenly combined.
- 3Set to custom 275°F at 1500W; press Start. Add the butter and let it melt without browning.
- 4Pour in the eggs and let them sit for 20 seconds, then gently stir with a silicone spatula from the edges toward the center.
- 5Continue stirring slowly for 4 to 6 minutes, lowering to Low 100°F if the eggs begin setting too quickly.
- 6Fold in the chives and optional cheddar when the eggs look softly set but still moist.
- 7Remove the skillet from the cooktop and let residual heat finish the eggs for 30 seconds.
- 8Serve warm. Press Pause/Clear, unplug, and cool before cleaning.
